Meaford Hall & Culture Foundation was happy to sponsor this event on Tuesday, April 21st at Meaford Hall.
It was an all day event with one movie in the morning, then lunch & festivities and a second movie in the afternoon.
Approximately 160 students took part in the event. GBSS invited the grade 8 students from BVCS & MCS. A string ensemble from GBSS entertained the students. There was a cafe set up with treats as well a red carpet to walk along with paparazzi! Students were encouraged to dress up, and they did. The students along with French teacher Pernilla Johannesson loved putting this event together – “It was a team effort, students having fun and learning at the same time”. The photography club took the photos and the students set up the food tables and served. They also wrote and read the introductions to both films.
