Meaford Culture Foundation and Meaford Museum hosted patrons of Cardinal Coach Tours for an historic tour of Meaford. During the tour, patrons learned about historic Meaford Hall, Market Square, the old Firehall and the area’s importance for over 150 years. Then on to Meaford Museum to meet Jody Seeley and Meghan Catto to tour the Museum. Lynda Stephens was also on hand to tell the town story of Beautiful Joe. The tour continued outside to hear about Meaford’s rich harbour story. Garry Tippen explained the shipwreck sights offshore and brought the harbour to life during the mid 1800’s. The tour ended at Grandma Lambes for a sampling of our local’s best produce. Our High Tea luncheon and live theatre performance capped off this excellent day!
