Opening night October 17th the Foundation presents a cheque to the Knights Hockey Team
Meaford Culture Foundation presented a cheque for $1,050 to the Knights
of Meaford hockey team, to be used as honoraria for the local artists who
will sing the national anthem during this season’s 21 home games.
The Foundation Vice-Chair Ted Brown and Director of Community
Outreach Joanne McKenzie presented the cheque to Knights’ president
and owner Sabine Chollet. Meaford’s own Emma Wright kicked off the
season.
