With the funding provided for music lessons, 12 students had the benefit of spending time each week with professional violinist Richard Mascall from the Georgian Bay Symphony Orchestra. Richard and Patrick Delaney (the music teacher) work together to select the students who not only want to, but will benefit the most from this experience.
The 20th Annual Spring Music Celebration was held June 6th at GBCS. An amazing performance was put on by the GBCS String Ensemble and GBCS Senior Orchestra, the students were able to showcase what they had accomplished.
