You are invited to celebrate International Women’s Day in Meaford at a special luncheon designed to inspire, empower and enlighten.  

Join us at 11:30am for a cocktail reception mix and mingle, lunch (option of Falafel wrap or Chicken Caesar Wrap) and an inspiring talk from Lauren McKeon, deputy editor of Toronto Life and author of “Women of the Pandemic”.  This is the 2nd annual event and is proudly sponsored by the Meaford Friends of the Library.

This event is in support of the Meaford Culture Foundation that supports arts and culture activities and initiatives in OUR community.

About The Speaker:
Lauren Mckeon is deputy editor of the popular Toronto Life magazine and the author of three non-fiction books; F-Bomb, No More Nice Girls, and Women of the Pandemic. Her feature work has been recognized several times at both the National Magazine Awards and the Digital Publishing Awards, and her work has also appeared in the anthologies Whatever Gets You Through and Best Canadian Essays, as well as in Toronto Life, Maclean’s, The Walrus, and more.
